Request Seattle Works Volunteers Today!

Seattle Works is proud to partner with community-based organizations and nonprofits in the Greater Seattle Area and connect them to the most energetic, passionate volunteers! If you're interested in working with us, please take a moment to read our Project Host Terms of Engagement. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee that your project will be scheduled.

Seattle Works is happy to help nonprofits, schools, community groups, religious, civic, and government organizations find volunteers for their events and activities. We are unable to send volunteers to events managed by for-profit companies.

At Seattle Works we strive to build a diverse and welcoming community through focus on equity in all aspects of our work. As part of this work, we expect and encourage our partners to work with us to make sure volunteering is accessible and welcoming for everyone. To learn more about our goals, please visit our Equity page. If you have experienced harassment, micro- aggressions, racial discrimination or other racial misconduct at a Seattle Works event, please hold us accountable via our Racial Grievance Reporting Form.

Post on the Volunteer Calendar

Our volunteer calendar recruits volunteers for weeknight and weekend projects. Unfortunately, we cannot recruit volunteers for auctions/fundraising events or charity runs/rides. Also, we ask that applications are submitted 3-4 weeks prior to a project. Click here for tips and tricks to writing an effective posting!

If you'd like to promote your project to Seattle Works' network of volunteers, we'll first need to give you access to our new volunteer management portal. Choose the option below that describes your organization:

    - If you already have access to the Partner Portal, log-in to your account using the log-in button at the top right of your screen and submit your volunteer opportunity!

    - If your organization has partnered with Seattle Works before, please email volunteer@seattleworks.org to gain access to our volunteer management portal.

    - If your organization has never partnered with Seattle Works to recruit and manage volunteers, please complete this form to create an account.

Long-term Volunteer Opportunities

While our programs build community through team-based volunteering, we also recognize that our partner organizations often have a need for longer-term, individual volunteers. Our ongoing opportunity page is the best place to recruit for committed volunteers.
