Magnuson Children's Garden

The Magnuson Children's Garden is a community project within the larger Magnuson Community Garden. Beginning in 2001, the garden was designed with ideas from the hearts and minds of children and parents, and every year since then has been cared for by volunteers of all ages.  The all-volunteer Magnuson Children's Garden Committee offers free educational and hands on activities in the garden for children and families on the 2nd Saturday of each month from spring to fall, and also participates in other free programming in collaborations with Seattle Audubon, Beavers Northwest, Magnuson Community Center, and other groups.  Our mission is to grow a love of gardening and nature in everyone who visits the garden, whether on a self-guided adventure or during one of our events!
