Restore Seattle's Urban Forested Parks!

Ready to get your boots muddy? Join us for a fun, invigorating afternoon of volunteer restoration work! You and your fellow volunteers will assist with invasive plant removal, mulching, or planting native plants, depending on the progression of the site's restoration. We will be working in various forested parks throughout the Delridge neighborhood, most of which drain into the Longfellow Creek watershed or are a part of the West Duwamish Greenbelt. Longfellow Creek hosts spawning salmon and is an important tributary to the polluted Duwamish River, while the West Duwamish Greenbelt is the largest contiguous forest in Seattle. If you're interested in habitat and wildlife preservation and enjoy working outdoors, you're in the right place!

Information each event's location will be sent out to volunteers via email the day before the event. Please be advised that in observence with US public holidays, some dates will not have any restoration events. If this is the case and you have signed up for a holiday event, we will contact you to let you know there will not be an event.
