Agency: Catholic Community Services - Volunteer Chore Services

Description: Volunteer Chore Services provides free chore service to low-income elders and adults living with disabilities. Services are provided to help these individuals remain living independently in their own homes for as long as safely possible.

Volunteers will be providing yard clean up for 4-5 seniors living within the Mobile Home Park. Weeding will be the biggest request, but also assistance with pruning, and raking up of leaves from the fall.

Those we are serving are unable to perform the work themselves and are unable to afford to hire help. Volunteer assistance with their yard will provide them with a sense of pride in their home and relief from a worry about how to keep their home in good shape.
